Conociendo y conservando la biodiversidad

Recent modern research seeks to combine diverse fields of biology such as phylogenetic systematics and evolutionary research, plant morphology and developmental studies, cytogenetics, and phylogeography for the study of species- population variation. It is my aim to combine these areas of knowledge for the resolution of different biological-systematics problems.

Our recent research deepens our knowledge of endangered genera and plant species in Argentina and South America. The current study, in collaboration with researchers and graduate students, aims to extend our lines of research on evolution and systematics in the genera of the Amaryllidaceae, Bromeliaceae, Orchidaceae, and Poaceae families.
